Hacia aquel sueño llamado Argentina
El 25 de mayo de 1810, con la formación del Primer Gobierno propio, empezó a gestarse la Patria. Fue la continuidad lógica de un movimiento que había comenzado a tomar forma unos años antes, durante las Invasiones Inglesas, y que se coronó 6 años después con la declaración de la independencia.

Si ves a nuestra bandera y un pájaro vuela en tu alma, es que eres argentino, de la noche a la mañana. Si el Cabildo te recuerda a Don Cornelio Saavedra, sabrás que presidió la Junta de criollos de la tierra. Y si eres muy patriota, deja que una golondrina, celeste y blanca de cielo, dé volteretas de gozo, en el medio de tu pecho. Llevemos escarapela, cantemos bien fuerte el Himno ¡que nos una la bandera en este feliz veinticinco, la democracia da un brinco, victoreando patria nueva! ¡Qué lindo es el veinticinco rescatado en mi bandera!
